Ducky Surgery

This is not Ducky's first brush with death.

By the look on Bruiser's face, you can see how close we came to losing Ducky this time. Ducky almost didn't make it.

Luckily mama has mad whip stitching skills and was able to quickly sew up Ducky before too many insides or the all important noise maker came out.

Yes, the glove was necessary if you must know. Carl asked me that too. It wasn't to keep the incision clean. Oh, no. It was to protect my hand from the, ahem, drool that covered the wound prior to the operation. I didn't clean the site very well prior to the treatment in an effort to save time and eliminate trauma (i.e. I didn't want Bruiser to cry for 20 minutes when Ducky was furiously spinning in the rinse cycle).
